Seminars from Kodak Show Printers How to ‘Connect the Dots’ from Market Trends to Profitable Growth
ROCHESTER, NY—Mar. 27—Kodak successfully launched its “Connect the Dots” road show, an interactive forum designed to educate print service providers and business leaders on the best practices to achieve growth and profitability. Following the first event in Baltimore on March 12 and 13, which drew more than 100 attendees, the road show is moving on to many locations across the United States through early May. The event promises full afternoons of learning, networking, inspiration, and demonstrations.
Business owners, CFOs, and anyone responsible for managing or improving a print-for-pay operation will benefit from the variety of presentations delivered by market experts, technical specialists, and executives from Kodak.
“Attendees at ‘Connect the Dots’ will come away with specific ideas and strategies they can implement immediately in their operations to position them for growth,” said Kevin Joyce, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “Our goal is to establish a meaningful dialog and access to the necessary resources that will help printers move not just their own businesses, but the industry as a whole, to the next level.”
Issues covered during the event include “Evolutionary Opportunities” to deliver double digit revenue growth; a live demonstration of “zero touch automation;” a review of actual business profitability resulting from the implementation of production automation while incorporating new digital services with traditional print; and strategies for including sustainability initiatives as part of your business practices. During the program, Kodak also will provide an overview of its products and technologies on display at the drupa tradeshow in Dusseldorf at the end of May.
The activities will end each day with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception that affords attendees the opportunity to participate in hands on demonstrations and networking with peers, as well as Kodak representatives.
“Staying educated and keeping up with new developments in the market are critical today,” noted Dave Wigfield, Managing Director, United States and Canada Region, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “This road show is designed to give print service providers a platform for sharing ideas and expanding their knowledge on technical, sales, and marketing issues they face on a day to day basis.”
