Custom Printing, Oxnard, CA, has promoted long-time employee Sal Rivera to the position of plant manager. Rivera began working for the company in 1988, starting in an entry-level position in the delivery department.
Glenn Mehltretter III was recently promoted to leader of the sales division for Ket-Moy Printing, Westchester, OH. Mehltretter began at Ket-Moy in the prepress department in 1994, worked in the pressroom and later as an estimator. Promoted to sales in 1996, he was Ket-Moy's top salesperson from 1999-2003.
Jay Zawerschnik has been named general manager and vice president of operations at Color Ink, based in Sussex, WI. Zawerschnik is now responsible for all day-to-day operations of the company. He has been employed at Color Ink since April of 2002.

The Ash Khan Honor Society of the Printing Industries of America inducted six industry notables and the late executive director of the Printing Industry of Minnesota at a recent black-tie gala in San Antonio. New members include: Thomas Hale Hawkins III, owner/president of Lewisburg Printing, Lewisburg, TN; Conrad Levenduski, owner/president of Ultimate Print & Mailing Solutions, Austin, TX; James Niesen, retired executive director of the Binding Industries of America; H. Winfield Padgett Jr., chairman of Padgett Printing, Dallas; J. Ralph Sowell Jr., president of Franklin Printers, Jackson, MS; Charles Stay, president and CEO of Bert-Co Industries, Los Angeles; and Kelvin Johnson, former president and CEO of Printing Industry of Minnesota, was posthumously inducted.
