PressAccess to Launch Extended Access Liquidation, Multi-Plant Virtual Liquidation
CUMMING, GA—08/13/2009—Move over, eBay. In a bold move designed to help buyers and sellers of used equipment maximize the return on their investments, PressAccess and the AccessGroup have launched Extended Access Liquidation, a new program with the appeal of an auction, coupled with the added security of guarantees and extended warranties.
Even in the best of times, plant closures are a fact of business life, and every company so affected needs to get the best possible deal for its equipment without sacrificing security and quality. By the same token, prospective buyers demand assurance that their purchase will perform as promised. Extended Access Liquidation encourages prospective buyers to view, inspect and test a company’s equipment prior to naming their price in an online bid format. In support of the process, AccessGroup technicians will be on hand to inspect the equipment and discuss the condition of the machines prior to purchase. If desired, these same technicians will remove the equipment and re-install it in the buyer’s facility. All certified presses purchased through the liquidation include a 12 month parts and labor warranty.
Extended Access Liquidation retains the benefits of an auction format while eliminating the risks. For example, once a purchase is completed, the AccessGroup can handle everything from cleaning and dismantling to loading, shipping, rigging and installation “The economy has driven the market to a place where printers want to buy in this way, and this has led PressAccess to begin selling in a new way,” says Clyde B. Tillman, President of PressAccess. “Value pricing, complete security and extended warranties from PressAccess and the AccessGroup will ensure buyers get the machine they want at the best possible price, with the security they deserve.”
Buyers may choose among services that include:
Cleaning – CleanAccess can restore the equipment to its original appearance or simply do an inexpensive hand cleaning.
Dismantling – Because ServiceAccess is made up of factory-trained professional technicians with many years of experience, buyers can rest assured their equipment will be dismantled properly and professionally.
Loading – PressAccess uses only manufacturer-certified riggers, ensuring that purchases will be packed and loaded securely.
Shipping – PressAccess will coordinate shipping. Our insurance protects the buyer’s purchase throughout the entire process, further securing their investment.
Installation – Our factory-trained technicians will handle the entire process. We will coordinate with electricians and contractors, and ensure that all the necessary modifications have been properly completed.
Warranty- All turn-key press and bindery purchases include our comprehensive 12-month warranty, which also covers all breakdowns and broken parts.
