Overbridge Technology Presents Eclipse Count, now with the Power of FlexCount Innovation
EMMAUS, PA—04/20/07—With the addition of its newest enhancement, FlexCount, Overbridge Technology’s Eclipse Count now has ‘no comparison’ in the industry due to the technology and methodology it uses for signature counting.
Prior to FlexCount, deriving a net count was the result of weight waste and subtracting it from a good count.
With the enhancements, waste weighing can be part of the solution.
Now with FlexCount, there are many options to use - either in addition to, or to replace waste weighing:
• divert conveyor stream monitoring
• stacker stream divert monitoring
• in-stream signature counting
• stacker log count monitoring
The varying methods can be used singularly or in combination as the software automatically ‘understands’ what methods are in place and determines how to process accordingly.
Overbridge Technology rolled out its two products, Eclipse Count and Eclipse Roll, at the Graph Expo and Converting Expo 2006 in Chicago last October. Eclipse Count was the winner of a prestigious Worth-a-Look award, one of only 22 recipients among thousands of new product and innovation entries.
Eclipse Count offers incredibly accurate signature counts, pallet/skid creation and content, and real time and historical automated press production reporting. A proven solution to paper control needs, it seamlessly integrates with Overbridge’s Eclipse Roll for consolidated press production/paper consumption reporting. The open database easily integrates with other business systems, and it is available as an easy retrofit for legacy waste scale based counting systems or as a new installation.
Eclipse Roll is also incredibly accurate as it monitors and records true paper linear yield and calculates actual basis weight, providing real time and historical paper usage by roll. Its open database easily integrates with other business systems.
