Neopost to Showcase Inkjet Solution for Mailing and Packaging as an Exhibitor at PRINTING United
MILFORD, Conn. - September 11, 2018 - A supplier of products that add new dimensions of flexibility and efficiency to printing, shipping and mailing needs a venue where it can demonstrate its solutions to audiences eager to learn more about them. Neopost, a global leader in these technologies, believes it will have precisely that opportunity as an exhibitor at PRINTING United (Dallas, Oct. 23-25, 2019).
One highlight of the Neopost exhibit will be the company’s new MACH 6 digital printing system, a color inkjet device that can output a very broad range of mailing and packaging applications at high speeds. The MACH 6 is tailor-made for print service providers wishing to expand their product offerings, which are the kinds of customers that Neopost expects to meet at PRINTING United, says William Longua, Senior Director of Neopost’s Digital Print Group.
The show represents “an extension of the market we typically go after, a bit outside of our core audience in a new location,” Longua explains, adding that the prospect of finding “a little bit of everything” in terms of visitor traffic at PRINTING United is one of its main attractions for Neopost. He says he’s also encouraged by the collaboration between show co-sponsors SGIA (Specialty Graphic Imaging Association) and NAPCO Media, a partnership that spans all sectors of the visual communications industry.
The event’s theme of convergence – PSPs branching beyond their core businesses into new print markets – also dovetails with Neopost’s product development strategy, particularly in the case of the MACH 6. Over the last few years, says Longua, Neopost has seen increasing numbers of its mailing customers attempting to break into packaging. With its 8.77-inch Memjet inkjet head, 1,600 x 1,600 dpi resolution, and its ability to handle media up to 3/8-inches thick, the MACH 6 is a direct response to the needs of this segment.
PRINTING United is the successor to SGIA Expo, the industry’s premier showcase for graphic and visual communications. It will follow SGIA Expo’s final edition in Las Vegas (October 18-20, 2018) and will be accompanied by BRAND United, a co-located learning experience aimed at brand owners, marketers, and other consumers of the B2B products and services that PRINTING United will showcase.
