Nahan Named 2015 Graphic Arts Industry Leader of the Year by PIM
ST. PAUL, MN—April 28, 2015—The Printing Industry Midwest (PIM) held its annual Star of Excellence Awards Banquet on April 23, 2015, at the Minneapolis Hilton. The top awards recognized outstanding leadership, customer service, production management and printed materials.
The 2015 Graphic Arts Industry Leader of the Year was awarded to Michael Nahan, president of Nahan in St. Cloud, MN. The past recipients select each new member of this elite list annually. Nahan was chosen for his commitment and contributions to the industry. David Radziej, president, PIM said, "Michael has been a leader in our industry for many years, and he deserving of this prestigious award."
Carol Aberle, The Midstates Group, Aberdeen, SD, and Patty Becker, Nahan, received the 2015 Customer Service Representative of the Year Awards; and, Tracy Primus, Nahan, received the 2015 Production Professional of the Year Award.
The People’s Choice Award (selected by banquet attendees) was presented to Ideal Printers for its printed piece, 1801 California, in the Folders and Binders Category.
The evening was rounded out with the announcement of the Star of Excellence Best of Show (printed piece). This year’s winner, selected by a panel of qualified judges, is Carlson Print Group, Eden Prairie, MN. Its winning entry, Minnesota Wild Box, in the Finishing Techniques Category.
