Olmedo Printing Bolsters Its Envelope Business with a Xanté Impressia Digital Multi-Media Press
MOBILE, AL—March 25, 2015—Olmedo Printing first opened its doors for business in 1973 in Union City, New Jersey. After a decade in New Jersey, they decided to move their family business to Florida. Manuel Olmedo and his family packed up and moved to Miami, where Olmedo Printing went on to service the Florida panhandle and eventually the Caribbean. Olmedo Printing has been in business for over 40 years and many products have come and go during that time. The company offers a wide range of services to its customers including postcards, fliers, posters, brochures, envelopes, carbon-less forms, business cards and more. Manuel decided to purchase the Impressia Digital Multi-Media Press when he saw it at the Graphics of Americas trade show in 2014. The Impressia's practical price point, low cost consumables and extremely quick turn around were several of the driving factors that lead him to purchase.
“The Impressia has been one of the best investments for my business," Olmedo commented. "When we got the machine, we built it in a couple of hours and were up and running. We didn't have to call for instructions or anything. It's very simple to run this machine. I've had the Impressia for over a near now, and I have over 400,000 impressions and I'm doing a lot of envelopes for the trade that I haven’t done before. You're going to be very happy that you can print 1,000 envelopes at such a low cost. I can also do variable data printing, which I wasn’t able to do before. My machine runs every day. Since I've bought it, I've already paid for it twice in profits. I'm very satisfied with the turn around and quality of the print. The service is great. I highly recommend the Impressia."
The combination of the easy-to-use software, user-friendly equipment, overall durability, color quality and cost efficiency have helped Manuel expand his business and corner the market on envelope printing in Miami.
