Messe Düsseldorf to Promote Printing Trade Fairs at GRAPH EXPO 15, Including drupa 2016
CHICAGO—July 24, 2015—Messe Düsseldorf will participate in GRAPH EXPO 15 in order to promote its worldwide program of international printing trade fairs, including drupa 2016 (May 31-June 10, 2016, in Düsseldorf, Germany), All in Print China 2016 (Oct. 18-22, 2016 in Shanghai) and INDOPRINT 2016 (Sept. 7-10, 2016, in Jakarta, Indonesia). At GRAPH EXPO booth 4048, drupa 2016, All in Print China 2016 and INDOPRINT 2016 exhibitor and visitor information will be available.
After a strategic realignment, drupa 2016—no. 1 for print and cross-media solutions—will be re-launched with a substantially revised nomenclature and a new key visual. With the slogan “touch the future” it will focus on the industry’s innovative strength and establish a platform for future technologies. The drupa 2016 exhibit categories were revised and updated and are now divided into six main segments (formerly seven): pre- press/print; pre-media/multichannel; post press/converting/package printing; future technologies; materials; and equipment/ services/infrastructure. All technical processes related to the areas of printing and crossmedia, the entire range of applications and business areas will be presented at the trade fair. Solution-oriented technologies and applications as well as innovative business ideas and best-practice examples will be the focus. At the show’s last staging in 2012, 1,844 exhibitors from 52 nations and 314,248 visitors from 130 countries took part.
Started in 2003, All in Print China, China International Exhibition All About Printing Technology and Equipment, has become one of the most influential exhibitions for its industry in China and the world. Serving as a platform for communication ideas and new developments, All in Print China significantly contributes to the progress and the future of China's printing sector. Jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai, the Printing Technology Association of China and the China Academy of Printing Technology, this event will give international companies the opportunity to enter the lucrative Chinese market and showcase their products to more than 60,000 attendees. The 2014 event attracted 680 exhibitors on 882,600 square feet of exhibit space.
Modeled after drupa, the Indonesian counterpart INDOPRINT 2016, Indonesian International Printing Exhibition, will continue its successful staging in 2016 with a comprehensive display of global innovative technologies, machinery and equipment for this industry in Indonesia and the region. Jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and its local partner PT. Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI), the next edition will again be held concurrently with INDOPLAS (plastics) and INDOPACK (packaging). In 2014, the trade fair trio attracted more than 22,000 trade professionals from Indonesia and the surrounding region, a 20 percent increase compared to 2012 event. A total of 362 exhibitors from 19 countries participated—30 percent more than in 2012.
