LasermaxRoll Announces Organizational Changes
LJUNGBY, SWEDEN/BILLERICA, MA--Sept. 12, 2012--Effective immediately, LasermaxRoll announced that its board of directors has appointed Giuliano De Marco as CEO, Jeff Kewin as president of Americas, and Stefano De Marco as general manager of Europe. William (Bill) Carroll, president and CEO, will support the transition and assist the chairman and CEO until the end of the year, when he will leave the company.
Giuliano De Marco, CEO of Tecnau and chairman of LasermaxRoll, assumes the leadership of the combined companies and will pursue a strategy to enhance product innovation and customer support. “My commitment is to establish a renewed effort to support our customers and partners in terms of innovative solutions, services and proactive problem solving," De Marco said.
He shaped his managerial leadership in computer and IT companies until the mid-1990s. In 1998, he became CEO at Tecnau, achieving highly successful results and in 2011, guiding the acquisition of LasermaxRoll.
Kewin, previously managing director Europe and Asia, will lead the American operations. He will be responsible for the Americas and Asia Pacific markets. His wide knowledge of the industry will be extremely valuable for the company, its customers and partners.
Kewin has been part of the company for over 16 years, covering different positions including vp of global marketing and business development, president Americas and Asia Pacific and, lastly, managing director Europe and Asia.
Stefano De Marco, previously sales manager at Tecnau, will be responsible for the European market. The main focus of his activity will be the coordination of marketing, sales and sales support in the region in order to optimize customer benefits through integrated activities.
De Marco has a mixed experience in sales, marketing and finance. Before joining Tecnau in 2011, he has held positions in sales and marketing for service companies and in finance in the heavy metal industry.
