Journalism, Justice, and Publishing in a Pandemic with Mr. Magazine
Dr. Samir “Mr. Magazine” Husni is a professor at The University of Mississippi and the founder and director of Magazine Innovation Center at the University’s School of Journalism and New Media, which now bears his name.
He is high on my list of the most interesting and engaging people I have met as your Intergalactic Ambassador. Dr. Husni is one of (if not THE) foremost magazine expert in the world and his wealth of knowledge usually sends me into rapid-fire question mode once we get talking.
Luckily, I was able to control myself in this case.
In this Podcast From The Printerverse we discuss the important role of a journalist amidst a social revolution, why the audience — not the platform — should remain the focal point of all media companies, about the current COVID situation on campus and his annual ACT Experience Event coming up April 21-23, 2021.
Push play and connect with Dr. Husni @MrMagazine on Twitter – you won’t be sorry!
Listen Long and Prosper!
