INTERQUEST Digital Printing in Government, Education Forum Returns to D.C.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA—Oct. 25, 2011—INTERQUEST, a leading market and technology research and consulting firm in digital printing and publishing, announced the sixth annual Digital Printing in Government and Higher Education Forum. The seminar, which is free for government and higher education professionals, will take place in Washington, DC on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.
According to David Davis, a director at INTERQUEST, “We’re excited to return again to Washington with a great program focused on digital printing in these two important public sectors. Government agencies as well as institutions of higher education are searching for the right balance of electronic and hardcopy delivery, and digital printing is playing a critical role in the mix. Attendees will hear some exciting and innovative applications developed by their peers as well as learning about the latest developments in the industry.”
The forum is designed around recent and on-going INTERQUEST research in digital printing in these environments. The morning and afternoon sessions feature presentations, case studies, and end-user panels addressing the needs of both audiences. It will include a panel of executives from leading vendors who will present their companies’ strategies and solutions for the government and higher education markets.
The seminar is sponsored by leading industry players, including Canon/Océ, Hewlett Packard, Kodak, and Xerox, with additional support from the Association of College and University Mail Services (ACUMS), the Franklin Technical Society (FTS), the Interagency Council on Printing & Publications Services (ICPPS), the National Association of College and University Mail Services (NACUMS), Xplor Mid Atlantic Region (MAR), and In-Plant Graphics.
The event is targeted at government and higher education users, including publishing and graphic services, in-plants and CRDs, print and mail services, IT/data center operations, purchasing and procurement departments, and communications professionals, as well as service providers.
