InnerWorkings Earns Recognition Once Again as a John Deere 'Partner-Level Supplier'
CHICAGO—March 9, 2015—InnerWorkings Inc. has once again earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2014 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Co.'s highest supplier rating and has been awarded to InnerWorkings six times. The honor recognizes InnerWorkings’ dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality, as well as its commitment to continuous improvement. InnerWorkings employees accepted the award during formal ceremonies held on March 3 near John Deere’s global headquarters in Iowa.
April 2015 marks the 10th year of collaboration between InnerWorkings and John Deere, during which time InnerWorkings has served as the marketing execution provider for John Deere's operations in North America. In 2013, InnerWorkings was inducted into the Supplier Hall of Fame in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program, a status attained after earning Partner-level status for five consecutive years.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence Program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness.
John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to evaluate suppliers and offer feedback that promotes continuous improvement.
