IDEAlliance and PIAlliance Announce 2015 Luminaire Awards Honorees, Date of Gala
ALEXANDRIA, VA and AMHERST, NY—April 8, 2015—IDEAlliance and PIAlliance have announced four 2015 Luminaire Awards honorees, recognizing outstanding professionals in advertising, publishing, printing and integrated media. A Franklin Award for Distinguished Service and the Zenger Community Service Medal will also be presented during the Franklin Luminaire Awards gala, honoring the Best in Communications, Oct. 1, 2015 at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, New York, NY. In 2014, PIAlliance’s Power of Communications and Franklin Awards, and the IDEAlliance Luminaire Awards, were merged into one spectacular annual event. The gala, now in its second year, will attract 400+ media executives and professionals spanning the advertising, print and publishing industries.
The Luminaire Awards and its predecessor Power of Communications, for more than 50 years, have honored those who represent the fervor of commitment and inspiration in media production, presented by IDEAlliance and PIAlliance through its charitable arm, the Digital Enterprise Education & Research (DEER) Foundation and PIA Graphic Communications Foundation. In recognition of their positive influence, creative excellence and personal dedication within graphic communications, the Luminaire Awards recognize outstanding achievements by media production leaders.
