IBS Direct of King of Prussia, PA, Earns a Spot in the 2014 'Philadelphia 100' List
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA—October 23, 2014—Ted Sherwin, president, and George Schnyder, owner and CEO of IBS Direct, a direct response printing solutions and marketing services firm, are proud to announce the company’s inclusion in the 2014 Philadelphia 100, the region’s hallmark of entrepreneurial excellence recognizing the area’s fastest growing businesses. IBS Direct was selected based on its increase in revenues over the past three years.
IBS Direct’s revenue has grown from $18 million to $43 million in the last three years. During that time, the firm expanded significantly, adding 23,000 square feet of facility space and four commercial presses. To support growth, IBS Direct’s staff count has grown to 105 employees, up from 50 in 2011.
"The recognition of being named to the Philadelphia 100 is directly due to our employees’ consistent commitment to excellence. I couldn’t be prouder," said Schnyder. "We’ve grown from a small printing business 40 years ago, to a leader in the commercial printing solutions and marketing services industry, and now to one of the fastest growing companies in the region. More than ever, we are dedicated to continuing this growth and success."
The Philadelphia 100 is an icon of the business community, collaboratively run by The Wharton Small Business Development Center, the Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia (EFGP) and the Philadelphia Business Journal. The integrity of the process and resulting list makes Philadelphia 100 one of the most sought after awards in the region.
