Hooven-Dayton Announces Relocation to Expanded Facility in Miamisburg
DAYTON, OH—Oct. 12, 2011—Hooven-Dayton Corp. will be relocating and expanding into new a facility in Miamisburg, OH. The relocation is the culmination of several years’ work to identify a building that will allow consolidation of the company’s two existing facilities (in Vandalia and Huber Heights, OH) and allow for future growth.
Christopher Che, Hooven-Dayton CEO and president said, “Our company has grown tremendously the past three years. We are excited to continue our aggressive growth with this new facility as our foundation. The great news is we will be able to keep all our current staff and add more equipment and people without constraints.”
Hooven-Dayton is leasing 103,000 square feet of the 196,000 square feet available at 511 Byers Rd. in the City of Miamisburg. Mark Metzger of Construction Managers of Ohio, the owners of the property, commented, “Without the full cooperation of the current occupant, Kurz Kasch, help from the City of Miamisburg and a very creative lease plan, this move would not have been possible.”
City of Miamisburg City Manager Keith Johnson added, “The City of Miamisburg is pleased to welcome Hooven-Dayton as our newest corporate neighbor. The company has a long history in the Miami Valley and we look forward to helping grow the company in return.”
The lease was coordinated through Tom Nikolai of Mark Fornes Realty. According to Nikolai, “The deal is another example of the desirability of the Austin Interchange area. It has great access to highways, amenities and other features that help companies attract and retain great employees and to serve a broad customer base.”
Hooven-Dayton will take occupancy on Dec.1, 2011, and will immediately begin to move equipment, raw materials and people. Hooven-Dayton’s Director of Operations Jeff Spahr noted, “The planning for the move has been underway for several weeks. A detailed plan is required to avoid any service disruption to our customers. Our objective is to seamlessly provide our high level of quality and responsiveness to all our customers during our move.”
