Heidelberg Splits into Three Divisions

HEIDELBERG, GERMANY—The management and supervisory boards of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) have announced a restructuring plan. Effective April 1, 2010, the company will be split into three divisions: Heidelberg Equipment, Heidelberg Services and Heidelberg Financial Services.

Responsibility for the Heidelberg Equipment division will lie with Stephan Plenz, who was previously the member of the management board responsible for technology and operations. Marcel Kiessling, a 20-year veteran of the company who has headed up Heidelberg Americas since 2004, will take charge of the Heidelberg Services division beginning January 1.
