FetterGroup Creates New Jobs to Prepare for Strong 2010
LOUISVILLE, KY—04/06/10—FetterGroup continues their steady growth with the addition of 12 new jobs in the first quarter of 2010. The new jobs span the company’s two operating divisions and include director and manager level positions. Terry Gill, President and CEO of FetterGroup says of the job creation, “We are preparing for a strong 2010 by adding key positions in our Enterprise Technology department specifically, and across the entire organization.”
Much of FetterGroup’s growth in the first quarter is attributed to the Enterprise Technology department, which focuses on custom software application development, primarily for healthcare clients. The addition of a new manager of Enterprise Technology, two new programmers, and a technology application specialist, help position FetterGroup to better serve their growing customer base and continue developing innovative technology solutions.
FetterGroup has also experienced expansion in their packaging division with the addition of five new employees in the pressroom to mange a considerable increase in the volume of printed material, particularly for the distilled spirits industry. Ted Hagler, Executive Vice President of Operations said, “Our packaging division has responded to recent positive changes in the industries we serve. The new equipment we installed in late 2009, along with our Reno, NV expansion, has prepared us to handle this influx of new work. We are thrilled to add new positions to our workforce and strengthen the FetterGroup team.”
A recent partnership with Uncommon (a Chicago-based marketing and product development company for the handheld electronic device industry) has also spurred growth for the company. FetterGroup’s expertise in color management and fulfillment, combined with extensive technical experience, has positioned the company to capitalize on this new opportunity as the manufacturing and distribution partner for Uncommon. FetterGroup’s Louisville facility is currently producing an average of 900 custom iPhone Capsule Cases daily using the patented 3D TATT™ process. Two long term employees of FetterGroup are leading the new operation as Director of Research and Development and Production Manager, along with 10-15 flexible employees.
