SMYRNA—The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) named Jerry Scher, co-founder and principal of Our Green Value, a division of Peak Focus LLC in Atlanta, as its 2010 Benjamin Franklin Award recipient. The award recognized his contribution to the graphic arts industry in Georgia for more than 30 years.

CLIFTON—To expand into the wide- and grand-format marketing arena, Sandy Alexander has acquired new equipment and added several senior executives. Brian Madigan has been named the general manager of the new division. The firm's printers will use UV inks to produce stadium banners, vehicle wraps, billboards, retail signage, transit graphics, event and trade show graphics, and pole banners.
