Wide-Format Printer Triple Play at Source One Digital Increases the Production Output Tenfold
NORTON SHORES, MI—Source One Digital, a large- and grand-format printer based here, has purchased three new Fujifilm wide-format digital inkjet printers. Randy Crow, president, and Jim Freed, vice president of digital services, chose a five-meter Uvistar 2 super-wide-format UV roll printer (the first U.S. installation), an Inca Onset S40 wide-format UV flatbed inkjet printer and an Acuity Advance UV flatbed printer.
Fujifilm's ColorGATE production server software is now driving all three printers. "This new equipment and the ability to produce this level of quality and color accuracy will help us compete for higher-end jobs, such as branding and corporate identity work," notes Crow.
"If it can be printed on rigid or roll material, we can print it."
Second Facility Enables 25 Million Digital Pages Per Day
PLANO, TX—O'Neil Data Systems celebrated the grand opening of its 235,000-square-foot printing, fulfillment and data center last month by inviting guests to tour the plant and see its suite of HP inkjet web presses in action, including an HP T400, HP T200 and an Indigo 7500, along with its intelligent inserting equipment.
The new facility positions Los Angeles-based O'Neil to offer an even faster turnaround in the delivery of mailed documents to both the East and West coasts. "We have increased our bandwidth and capacity to produce and deliver personalized documents at the highest quality and fastest turnaround times in the industry," says Jim Lucanish, president of O'Neil.
