Celebrating 20 Years of Print Excellence: Sappi’s Final Printer of the Year
BOSTON - November 13, 2018 - Since 1999, Sappi’s been celebrating exceptional printers like you who relentlessly drive for results. Now in its final year, Sappi will collect your most impressive print pieces from the past year and a half and evaluate them across a number of categories to determine which is most deserving of our top prize: bragging rights and $20,000 in branding and marketing support. The Sappi Printer of the Year Awards program has been regarded as the printing industry’s most respected accolade for the past two decades, making its last iteration bittersweet for Sappi.
Congratulations to Classic Color for winning the 2018 Printer of the Year competition. Classic Color won 2018’s top industry honor with its Books category entry: “Baron Wolman Presents: The Rock & Roll Revolution”—a stunning collection of images by the iconic Rolling Stone photographer, Baron Wolman.
