Brausse Expands Its Sales and Service Network
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND—August 2012—Since the acquisition by Bobst Group in January 2011 of a majority share in Gordon Ltd., the holding company of Shanghai Eternal Machinery, the manufacturer of Brausse and Eterna product lines, the Bobst and Brausse brands have continued to be developed serving separate market segments.
Today, Bobst announces that the sales and service organization of Brausse will be expanded to further capitalize on the potential of the standalone, entry-level brand.
Emilio Corti, head of sales for the Business Unit Sheet-Fed at Bobst, said, “In Bobst and Brausse we have two discrete brands, each serving different market segments, but both part of the Bobst Group family of companies. Each brand will continue to develop, manufacture and support its own products, based on the needs of the market segment it serves.
“Brausse is in the process of developing a number of new machinery solutions that will further enhance its position of importance in the entry level segment of the worldwide market and this will be supported by a larger sales and service network.” Corti added.
Brausse is not currently represented in every geographical market, but the company is now working to develop a full network of sales and service teams across the world.
Corti said, “The target is to have an appropriate worldwide network for Brausse by the end of this year so that they can fully exploit the huge potential of their entry level equipment. Brausse has achieved very good sales this year, and had a very good drupa where the company had its own stand. The aim is to make sure that the Brausse flag is flying in every country.”
