Hagan has served Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) tirelessly over the years. He has served many terms on the PIAG Board of Directors, as well as heading the PIAG Long Range Planning Committee and serving on the Health Guard Trust Board of Directors.
To many in the printing industry, as well as his community and beyond, Hagan is a mentor, friend, and respected colleague who continues to offer his talents. He was instrumental in the planning and construction of the association’s headquarters in1990, and he continued to be engaged with growth opportunities for PIAG with the expansion of the Insurance Services Department. Today PIAG’s Insurance Services continues to provide cost-effective medical and business coverage for its members as well as a significant revenue source for the association. Hagan progressed through the PIAG chairs and was elected chairman of the Board in 1994. In 2002, he was presented with the association’s highest honor, the Benjamin Franklin Award, which recognized his selfless dedication to the industry. Called back into service in 2011 on the PIAG Executive Committee, Hagan was elected as the PIAG representative to the Board of Directors of Printing Industries of America where he currently serves.
