A Palo Cedro (CA) woman charged with embezzlement in June, only to have the charges dropped by the Shasta County district attorney's office three months later, is suing the Redding printing firm that accused her of the thefts. Lisa Gale Rayl was fired from the Redding Printing Co. in August 2010.
Rayl’s suit claims she was slandered and maliciously prosecuted by the company’s owners, Kenneth and Richard Peterson, and she was fired without justification or good cause.
Lisa Rayl was arrested last December on suspicion of felony embezzlement and grand theft for allegedly stealing more than $12,000.
