When Boutwell, Owens & Co. announced last month that it had acquired a new plant in Texas, some wondered whether the purchase meant one of the area's oldest and largest manufacturers would be moving on to greener pastures. The printed paperboard retail and specialty packaging company, which did about $27.5 million in sales last year, purchased the assets of Guynes Printing of Texas, according to Vice President of Sales and Marketing William Hodges. The acquisition is poised to bring the company about another $7 million in profits
