Duquesne Litho Execs Join Heeter Direct

CANONSBURG, PA—The owners of Bridgeville, PA-based Duquesne Litho—Jim Condio, Steve Condio and Greg Condio—have joined Heeter Direct. Terms of the agreement were not revealed. Duquesne Litho ceased manufacturing operations on April 9. NAPL provided consultive advice to Heeter on its mergers and acquisitions growth strategy. Heeter provides sheetfed and digital printing, mailing, kitting and fulfillment services, among others.
Mount Royal Obtains Jarboe Assets

SEWICKLEY, PA—It doesn't appear that a merger between Printing Industries of America (PIA) and the National Association of Printing Leadership (NAPL) is in the immediate future. PIA President and CEO Michael Makin sent out a short letter to PIA members, informing them that NAPL has rejected an offer of consolidation discussions with PIA.

Bordeaux Printers Merges with L+L

SAN DIEGO—Bordeaux Printers of Santee, CA, has been acquired by L+L Printers, based here. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The addition of Bordeaux is expected to expand L+L's presence in the greater San Diego area. L+L is also acquiring new press equipment and expanding its facility.
