Rider, SCS Obtain Assets of Sleepeck Printing

CHICAGO—Equity partners Rider Dickerson and Service Communications + Solutions (SCS) announced the asset purchase of large-format printer Sleepeck Printing. The companies also hired several key Sleepeck employees. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Rider and SCS will benefit from the addition of Sleepeck's large-format and UV sheetfed printing capabilities and will be able to expand their presense in the point-of-purchase (POP) marketplace, according to Rider President Bill Barta.

The deal creates a company with a potential for annual sales of $25 to $30 million.
