Bowne Obtains RSG Digital NEW YORK—Bowne & Co. has acquired the digital printing business of Rapid Solutions Group, a subsidiary of Janus Capital Group, for $14.5 million. RSG Digital has annual sales of about $45 million. RSG’s digital printing unit operates facilities in Chicago and Melville, NY. ORLANDO, FL—George Ryan is trading in one trade association job for another. The executive vice president and COO of the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation will take the helm as president and CEO for the Printing Association of Florida (PAF), effective in October. Ryan replaces Michael Streibig, who announced he would retire at year’s end. The two will work together to ensure a smooth transition process.
