Lottery Ticket Printer Scientific Games of Alpharetta, GA, Expands Capacity, Adds 40 Jobs in GA

An Alpharetta, GA, company that prints lottery scratch tickets for more than 120 lotteries worldwide is adding an estimated 40 jobs in Forsyth County as it expands its printing capacity.

Scientific Games has acquired a manufacturing system—Alpha P-7—that can print 9 billion lottery tickets annually. The additional manufacturing volume created by Alpha P-7 is projected to add about 40 manufacturing jobs in 2014.

The company will celebrate the operational debut of Alpha P-7 at a ribbon-cutting ceremony today with guests expected to include Gov. Nathan Deal and Debbie Alford, president and CEO of the Georgia Lottery Corp.
