Wellspring Capital Acquires The Press of Ohio and D.B. Hess Company

NEW YORK CITY—September 21, 2006—Wellspring Capital Management LLC announced today that it has acquired The Press of Ohio and D.B. Hess Company, two leading printing companies that serve the education, catalog and commercial markets. Terms of the deals were not disclosed. Dave Bracken, president of The Press of Ohio and a 2000 Printing Impressions/RIT Printing Industry Hall of Fame inductee, was a pretty good player in his heyday, at least good enough to set a hitting record for his college team.
