UNIMAC Graphics Adds TanaSeybert

CARLSTADT, NJ—UNIMAC Graphics has received court approval to acquire New York-based TanaSeybert. A printing, mailing and fulfillment company, TanaSeybert had filed for bankruptcy. UNIMAC says it will benefit from TanaSeybert's interactive/online, out-of-home, specialty production and creative services capabilities.

NEW YORK—TanaSeybert LLC has filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) with the New York State Department of Labor regarding the closing of its facility at 525 W. 52nd St. The notice indicates that employee layoffs began on Sept, 11, with 132 people to be let go in stages leading up to the plant closing on Nov. 16.

TanaSeybert Consolidates into Manhattan Complex

NEW YORK—Print management solutions provider TanaSeybert is relocating its operations into one Manhattan-based facility starting this month. The phased move, expected to be completed by the end of the summer, physically unites the companies formed in the 2004 merger of Tanagraphics and Seybert Nicholas Printing Group. The two entities will join forces in a seven-story, 140,000-square-foot facility at 525 West 52nd St. in Manhattan. As part of the move, TanaSeybert will also acquire the print manufacturing assets of United Envelope, garnering three presses in the deal to bring its total to 16. That total includes a new six-color press to be installed in the new plant.
