Don Duncanson, President, Dynacolor Graphics, Miami—We were on our way to the airport in a taxi after leaving the PRINT 01 show where we were to meet my friend Pete Stephens, his wife, and his salesman Scott who were returning a rental car. As we were approaching the airport, we heard on the news the first tower had been hit by an airplane and found it hard to believe. When the second tower was hit, we realized this was no accident.

Franklin Communications and Dynacolor Graphics Merge
June 12, 2009

Peter Dunne, President of Franklin Communications, LLC, and Donald Duncanson, President of Dynacolor Graphics, Inc., both in Miami, Florida jointly announced that Dynacolor’s business operations have been merged with Franklin effective June 1, 2009.  Dynacolor Graphics will operate as a division of Franklin with Don Duncanson serving as President of the division. The majority of the highly experienced Dynacolor associates will staff the new division.

Don Gecks has joined Hi-Liter Graphics, Burlington, WI, as vice president of operations. Gecks was formally an executive in charge of operations at S. Rosenthal & Co., Cincinnati. Gary Stafford has been promoted to executive vice president for Lazer Inc., Rochester, NY. In his most recent position, he served as senior vice president, managed the sales team, served as CTO and led the company's recent expansions. At age 61, Duncanson is the co-founder and chairman of Dynacolor Graphics, a successful, $9.6 million commercial printing operation in Miami. Robert Hart has joined Mail-Well, Englewood, CO, as CEO and president of Mail-Well Envelope. Prior to joining Mail-Well, Hart spent more than 30 years with Atlanta-based Riverwood International. He most recently served as senior vice president of the $600 million paperboard operation. Mark P.
