MONTREAL—Transcontinental Inc. announced that it will be closing its Transcontinental Concord printing plant in Concord, Ontario, and its Transcontinental Edmonton printing plant in Edmonton at the end of December.

Transcon Sells Rastar Assets to Sun Litho

MONTREAL—TC Transcontinental Printing, a division of TC Transcontinental, announced that it is selling the assets of Rastar, based in Utah, a subsidiary which specializes in personalized print products. Rastar will be acquired by Digibell Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salt Lake City-based Sun Litho. New Direction Partners represented TC Transcontinental in the transaction.

The format is 63.5x2", which is then folded into four panels for final dimensions of 16x10.5"; it can be printed front and back in full color; plus, it fits into many types of advertising vehicles, such as Publisac and newspapers.
