Printing Industries of America proudly announces the recipients of the 2008 Best Workplace in the Americas Awards. A total of 51 graphic arts companies, both Printing Industries of America members and non-members, were selected by a committee of distinguished Human Resource experts from within the industry. The program is designed to recognize graphic arts companies for outstanding human relations efforts that contribute to a successful workplace.

WAUNAKEE, WI—Suttle-Straus has completed the expansion of its facility here and has added production previously done at its downtown Madison location. The company christened its new capacity—which gives the plant 116,000 square feet of space—by installing a pair of Mitsubishi presses with a price tag of $6 million. One is a six-unit Diamond 8 web press, the other a six-color, 40˝ sheetfed model equipped with in-line coating. Production was slated to end at the Madison plant on April 15, with all administrative and production employees housed at the newly expanded facility.
