TPSi, a major digital document delivery company, announced today that it has opened a new facility in Albuquerque, NM, to serve the western region of the country. TPSi recently signed a contract with PNM Resources, an energy holding company headquartered in Albuquerque that markets power throughout the Southwest, Texas and the West, to produce and mail more than 650,000 monthly bills for its customers.

Pittsburgh, PA, June 1, 2007—PIA/GATF Presidents Conference Advisory Committee and the BIA Board of Directors has announced March 2–6, 2008 as the dates for the 2008 Presidents Conference and BIA Conference. The program will be held at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.

Valassis Nixes ADVO Deal LIVONIA, MI—Alleging fraud, Valassis Communications has sued ADVO in chancery court to rescind its $1.3 billion merger agreement. Valassis alleges ADVO intentionally provided false information and “withheld material information” regarding operating income. The suit also alleges ADVO executives knew of significant internal control deficiencies associated with ADVO’s order-to-cash system. ADVO sees the move as “merely a smokescreen to hide the fact that Valassis is suffering from an extreme case of buyer’s remorse,” and plans to contest the action. The Regent operations will be combined with Consolidated Graphics' existing Tulsa operations to form Consolidated Printing Solutions, which will offer both sheetfed and full-web printing capabilities to its customers in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri from new, state-of-the-art facilities.
