Whatever you call it,you're referring to one of the largest manufacturing industries in the United States in terms of not only employees but also annual revenue. Printing is the second largest manufacturing industry in Minnesota. Printers employ more than 42,000 people atover 1,100 firms with an annual payroll of over $1.3 billion and shipments in excess of $6.1 billion.
