PEWAUKEE, WI—A 52-year-old employee at an xpedx plant was killed last Monday after getting crushed by a five-foot stack of paper.

The Waukesha County Sherif's Department says that a 52-year-old man was killed in an industrial accident at the xpedx plant near Highway 164 and Roundy Circle (Pewaukee, WI). The sheriff's department says Andrew Blechacz was working inside the warehouse when a shelving unit stacked full of pallets of copy paper toppled over.

“Employees, sheriff’s department deputies, and then the fire and EMS crews worked frantically to uncover the gentleman from the enormous amount of paper that fell upon him,” described Steve Pederson of the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
