Webster Bank, Standard Register Sign Multi-Year Customer Communications Services Deal

Standard Register has renewed its contract with Webster Bank through 2018 to provide enterprise print management and promotional marketing programs and expanded the relationship to include electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) services. The EBPP solution, provided in partnership with Transactis, allows Webster Bank to offer its clients a highly-customizable, feature-rich solution that enables the secure distribution of electronic bills and invoices and accepts payments via the Web, voice, phone and mobile.

Standard Register Gets Extension by Creditors; Looks at Debt Restructuring or Possible Sale

Standard Register Co. is preparing to make what is expected to be a dramatic move that could include restructuring debt or possible sale of the company.

In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (Jan. 22), the Dayton-based company announced it was given an extension by creditors on meeting critical financial goals and hired three firms to assist in a major financial makeover.

Standard Register began speaking with its lenders late last year about changing financial arrangements, according to a December filing with the SEC.

Standard Register Recognized by CDP Supplier Climate Index for Reducing Carbon Footprint

Making significant changes to reduce its carbon footprint, Standard Register was recently recognized by CDP for its actions on climate change. The company was awarded with a position on the CDP Supplier Climate Performance Leadership Index 2014. Collectively, climate performance leaders reduced their total (absolute) emissions by over 20 million metric tons in the past reporting year.
