This 2016 Gold Ink Awards entry was submitted and entered into the Folding Cartons category by Classic Color of Broadview, Ill. The Sappi Holiday Gift Box was created to remind Sappi Fine Paper's customers how paper plays a magical role in creating unforgettable experiences, especially around the holidays. The piece was produced on an eight-color, 40˝ Komori Lithrone (GL840) sheetfed press equipped with fully inter-decked UV lamps. What makes this gift box stand out are the fun designs, vivid colors and cool effects using coatings and scented varnishes.

Youth in Print Scholarship: The Industry's 'Best Kept Secret' for the Future of Print

Parent company of Printing Impressions, NAPCO Media, partnered with the Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation (EDSF) to create the Youth in Print Scholarship. The scholarship was designed to give students interested in printing, Web page management, information technology and e-commerce the opportunity to pursue an education in the concentration of their choice.
