Metrix Software, developer of Metrix, the intelligent, automated job planning and imposition system, announced that it will demonstrate its latest release, Metrix 2012.0, at the EFI Connect conference in Las Vegas, from Jan. 15-18, at the Wynn Hotel. Metrix has been integrated with various EFI MIS offerings since 2009.

LithoTechnics Inc., developer of the Metrix automated job planning and imposition system, announced that the company will begin trading under the name Metrix Software. “Since the company has focused exclusively on enhancing the Metrix product line and building our customer base, the market has come to know us as simply ‘Metrix,’” explained Rohan Holt, CEO.

technology, recognized a bottleneck in planning and imposition. Too
many workers and hours were being used for these tasks—the prepress
team was spending 15-20 percent of its time building imposition
templates. In addition, inconsistent planning resulted in delays in
prepress, press makeready and finishing.
LithoTechnics Inc. announced that Fujifilm North America Corp., Graphic Systems Division recently sold the 1,000th license for the Metrix automated job planning and imposition system.
The Country Hall of Fame recently completed an exhibit on Nashville’s own “Mr. Guitar,” Chet Atkins. The companion book for the exhibit, titled “Chet Atkins, Certified Guitar Player,” was printed by Lithographics Inc.
