SUSSEX, WI—HGI Co., a Burlington, WI-based commercial printer, and Quad/Graphics, one of the world's largest catalog, magazine, retail insert and direct mail printers, have entered into a strategic partnership to provide clients with an enhanced product and service offering on a global scale that is fast, flexible and meets rapidly evolving needs in a changing marketplace.
Quad/Graphics will purchase a minority interest in HGI, but Craig C. Faust will retain majority ownership of the Burlington, WI-based HGI and will continue to lead the company as its President & CEO.
VALHALLA, NY—October 29, 2008—Fujifilm Graphic Systems U.S.A., Inc. announced today the sale of the Inca Onset flatbed UV digital press to HGI Co., LLC. Introduced last year, the Inca Digital Onset represents a breakthrough in digital printing and produces high-quality, short run point-of-purchase and display graphic products. The two companies signed a letter of intent on the first day of Graph Expo 2008. The installation at HGI Company will be just the tenth installation of the Inca Onset worldwide.
