The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware has approved the sale of National Envelope’s assets to Cenveo. The parties expect the sale to formally close on Monday, September 16, 2013.

Cenveo Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the operating assets of National Envelope. National Envelope filed Chapter 11 on June 10, 2013 in order to facilitate a sale.

FRISCO, TX—Envelope manufacturer National Envelope has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the second time in the past three years, The Wall Street Journal reported. Its parent company, NE Opco, cited a continued decline in sales in its filing.

Cenveo Inc.'s subsidiary, Cenveo Corp., has completed the refinancing of its existing senior secured Term B Loan and Revolving Credit Facility with an amended and restated $360 million Term B Loan facility, through Bank of America. "We were pleased to be able to take advantage of the strong credit markets to refinance our next two maturities," said Robert G. Burton, Sr., Chairman and CEO of Cenveo. 

CHAMBERSBURG, PA—Even in light of volatile marketplaces, private-sector companies that serve the printing needs of numerous federal government agencies and departments [procured through the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO)] continue to enjoy a positive revenue stream, according to figures compiled for the latest “Top 50 GPO Suppliers” reports.

According to figures compiled for the latest “Top 50 GPO Suppliers” reports, the total volumes of work procured by the Government Printing Office in first three quarters of 2012 were nearly identical to figures for the corresponding periods of 2011.

Cenveo generated net sales of  $451.3 million in the third quarter of 2012, compared to  $475.8 million for the third quarter of 2011. Operating income was $35.0 million in the latest quarter, compared to $33.2 million for the third quarter of 2011.
