Two additional Bobst Visionfold 110 machines have been installed at Platinum Converting’s facility in Itasca, Illinois.
Bobst has announced the first beta site installation of the Bobst digital printing press for corrugated board. Designed to deliver four-color digital post-print directly onto a broad range of uncoated and coated corrugated media, the press offers both personalization and speed on short-run and high-volume work.

Platinum Converting has installed a Bobst Expertcut 106 LER blanker in its 120,000-square-foot facility in Itasca, IL, enhancing its strong presence in diecutting services. "This machine adds additional technology to our line-up providing high speed, accurate blank separation together with the option of full sheet delivery," said Jeff Huber, president at Platinum Converting.

With two high-powered Bobst Fuego systems on its production floor, Seidl’s now offers improved versatility, speed and total output on all folding and gluing work. “Increased demand for high-volume folding and gluing production drove us to upgrade our capabilities appropriately,” said Bill Seidl.
After each of the first three days of GRAPH EXPO 2011, buses departed McCormick Place for W.H. Leary’s facility in nearby Tinley Park for a “Finish The Day” party and live technology demonstration. Food, drink and live entertainment were on hand with each evening’s action centered around a Bobst Expertfold 110 A-2 CS folder-gluer running a Chicago-themed folder created specially for the event.
