At Graph Expo 16, coming Sept. 25-28 to Orlando's Orange County Convention Center-North, Print Media Centr (PMC) will feature a robust lineup of expert panel presentations and special events that will take place in The Printerverse (booth #701). The Printerverse is a highly interactive 2,500-square-foot show floor feature providing "Printspiration, Information and Fun," where attendees are invited to come and connect with the topics, trends, and people who are moving the print-driven industries forward.

MANITOWISH WATERS, WI—Rudy Valenta, a 45-year printing industry veteran, passed away at 69 years of age at his home here on Nov. 8. He was most recently president of Eltosch America in Brookfield, WI.

On Dec 5-6, 2012, the Printed Electronics USA conference and exhibition in Santa Clara, CA, will feature “Manufacturing Street,” its first live, multi-technology, printed electronics demonstration. Four different types of electronics printing processes will be explored.

Wide- and grand-format printers really stood out around the show floor, with the size of some devices giving them the impression of being the new “heavy iron” in the industry. Even the new crop of inkjet presses for high-volume page production was overshadowed a bit by their wider brethren, as fewer vendors elected to bring machines to Chicago.
