Think Patented Sees 20 Percent Boost from Heidelberg's Performance Plus

After completing a 12-month Performance Plus program through Heidelberg, Think Patented was able to increase its average performance by 20 percent and reduce makeready waste by 50 percent. The program saved the business more than 620 production hours, resulting in a total savings of $237,720. "It was crucial to identify training gaps, [and to] resolve applications and process issues. We have better printers and quality processes as a result," said Niels Winther, chairman and managing partner. "We are happy with the outcome of our [Performance Plus] efforts."

Compart North America to Open Technology Development Center in Connecticut

Compart North America, an international supplier of multi-channel solutions for document management, will be opening a new Technology Development Center in New Milford, Connecticut, that will be led by John Lynch, vice president of technology. The office will be fully operational in July.
