Xplor to Co-Locate with the 2008 AIIM and On Demand Conferences & Expos

June 2007
NEWTON, MA/LUTZ, FL—June 26, 2007—Questex Media Group, producers of AIIM Expo and On Demand: the Digital Printing & Publishing Conference and Exhibition, and Xplor International, the producer of the Xplor International Conference and Expo, will co-locate their events in 2008 to create the world’s largest information, document and content management event. The events will take place March 3-6, 2008 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

“We are eager to begin working with Questex on this exciting new opportunity,” said Skip Henk, EDP, president and CEO of Xplor. “The industry has been waiting a long time for this. The Xplor International Conference and Expo is the largest and most well established event in the world focused on the transactional printing industry. By bringing Xplor together with the AIIM and On Demand events we will create the largest educational venue for the document industry in the world allowing us to focus on the total document lifecycle – from data, capture, management and sharing, through on screen, mobile and printed delivery to transactional printing.”

“Co-locating the Xplor conference with the AIIM and On Demand events will create an improved venue for attendees to find suppliers and acquire the practical knowledge and information they need to help them implement effective document lifecycle and business process management strategies in their organizations,” said Kerry Gumas, president and CEO of Questex Media Group. “This partnership will allow us to serve a larger audience and provide attendees world-class educational opportunities and access to the most comprehensive range of technology from the largest presentation of exhibitors in the industry. We are looking forward to a strong relationship with Xplor International.”

Henk will work closely with Questex to effectively integrate the Xplor event with the AIIM and On Demand Conferences & Expos. Henk is a 30-year industry veteran and has had a variety of senior management positions within the vendor and service bureau communities including director of product development, director of North American sales, vice president of operations and has been instrumental in expanding the educational offerings of Xplor.

“Adding the strength of the Xplor educational programs will enhance the already extremely successful On Demand conference program,” noted Charlie Pesko, president, InfoTrends. “We are very pleased to be working closely with Xplor to expand our industry leading education as the transactional and the on demand printing environments merge within the enterprise.”
