Wichita Eagle Shifts Commercial Printing Focus
February 2007
WICHITA, KS—The Wichita Eagle announced it was refocusing its commercial printing business, with an emphasis on large press runs, in-house jobs and advertiser work.
As a result, small publication accounts are being eliminated. The company informed a dozen publication customers of its decision in January.
The company felt its press was better designed for long runs and noted that setup times were exceeding the time it took to print the small jobs.
