W+D Direct Marketing Solutions Hosts ‘New Chapter’ Open House
LÖHNE, GERMANY—June 6, 2011—W+D Direct Marketing Solutions (W+D DMS) invited current and potential customers to Germany to an open house at the end of May 2011 and presented, together with its parent company Winkler+Dünnebier AG (W+D), innovative products and technology solutions designed for producing, printing and inserting envelopes and pockets.
During the open house, visitors had the opportunity to experience five solutions live and under actual production conditions: the W+D BB300—a highly flexible system which offers a wide variety of applications, especially in the field of direct marketing. As well as two W+D BB700’s with system channels. These fast multi-format systems are ideal for applications in the transactional segment. Furthermore the latest developments and solutions of the parent company W+D AG—W+D 232 and ConceptD for printing envelopes and mailers using offset or digital printing.

The motto of the event—“We’re starting a new chapter”—indicated that the host was placing a special focus on the restart. As of October last year, the provider of envelope inserting systems and fulfillment solutions for direct marketing and transactional applications changed the name from Buhrs-ITM to W+D Direct Marketing Solutions.
