Vertis Tapped to Boost Awareness of Bruegger’s Bagels Brand

BALTIMORE—April 25, 2011—Vertis Communications, a results-driven marketing communications company that delivers inventive advertising, direct marketing and interactive solutions, has signed a two-year contract with Bruegger’s Bagels, a popular quick-service bakery and café operating in 26 states and Canada, to serve as a key provider of direct marketing programs and compelling advertising inserts.

Vertis will work to support Bruegger’s marketing strategies, including drawing customers to its 300 regional locations and driving overall business growth, through the creation and deployment of high-impact promotional pieces. Bruegger’s will engage customers in and out of their homes with special offers, coupons and other deals in bold single-sheet ads with diecuts, tri-folds, four-page free standing inserts and jumbo postcards designed to pique interest and compel customer response. Vertis Logistics will enhance the return on Bruegger’s marketing investment through mail optimization and speedy in-home delivery.
