Unimac, Ultimate Paperbox Opt for KBA Rapidas

DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY—Unimac Graphics, in Carlstadt, NJ, placed an order for a six-color KBA Rapida 106 at Drupa 2008, four years after it obtained a Rapida 105 at the last Drupa. The printer’s new six-color plus coater model with extended delivery and perfecting after the second unit will also feature DriveTronic SPC dedicated cylinder drives and no-sidelay infeed. The press is slated to be installed in October.
Also, Los Angeles-based packaging enterprise Ultimate Paperbox bought a six-color KBA Rapida 162a coater press with double extended delivery. It is the first new-generation Rapida for the company.
