UM Acquires Acme Printing Assets

WESTWOOD, MA—Universal Millennium (UM), a portfolio company of Calvert Street Capital Partners, has acquired the assets of Wilmington, MA-based Acme Printing from parent company The MATLET Group. According to UM CEO Bill Fitzgerald, the deal provides customers with a powerful suite of tools, from web and sheetfed printing to Web-to-print and digital printing capabilities, across three facilities.
Acme is the fourth acquisition in UM's strategic "buy and build" growth plan. It is seeking further strategic acquisition opportunities that speak to conventional and digital printing, mailing and fulfillment services in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
